It’s easy to get started with Parsimony’s Alerts and Archives. Here are the first 3 steps:

  1. Confirm that your items have loaded and enable up to 5 for standard monitoring. (ParsimonyFIRST customers can have 250, 1000, or unlimited ASINs depending on their plan.)
  2. Configure Alerts to control what gets sent, who gets the Alert, and how they receive it.
  3. Make a note to come back tomorrow and check for Archives.

Select Items:
When you signed up for ParsimonyFREE/FIRST, we requested MWS access to your SellerCentral account. That allowed us to pull a list of all of the items in your Seller Central account and configure them in our database. To see your list of items,
  • Click on the Parsimony "P" in the top left hand corner and look for "Select Items" on the Archive and Alert card.
  • Or you can see that list here: https://{yourSubdomain}.parsimony.com/desk#item-manager,

Once you are on the Parsimony Item Manager page you can choose which 5 Items you want to Enable for hourly checks and nightly archives. Just click on the "Enabled" toggle switch and you will get a color indication that the Item is Enabled.

Key Point >> Only the items you Enable will be checked for changes and archived. You can control which Alerts you get in the next section.

Configure Alerts:
The next step is to set up your Alerts. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
  • You can configure as many Alerts as you want.
  • You will need a separate Alert for each method of sending. For example you will need one for Email and another for Slack even if you are choosing the same Alert triggers.
  • You can have multiple destinations on each Alert. This means that you can have multiple email addresses on an Email alert.
  • Alerts for ParsimonyFREE customers are limited to a twelve hour window but run 7 days a week. (ParsimonyFIRST customers have 24 hour availability and can also receive SMS Alerts.
